This continuing education program will provide attendees information on caring for patients who are traveling. Additionally, this program will cover the requirements and implementation of a Kentucky board approved protocol in travel health for pharmacists practicing in Kentucky. Upon completion, attendees will receive 4 hours of CE credit. The cost to attend is $10 per person. Limited to the first 20 registrants.

Objectives:
Provide background knowledge regarding common diseases encountered by international travelers
Review recommended preventative measures and treatments utilized in travel-related illnesses covered under protocol including traveler's diarrhea, malaria, and altitude sickness
Review other relevant travel-related illness topics
Apply information to a patient case
